Miranda House is proud to be awarded NIRF All India Rank One in the category of colleges in the India Rankings 2017 announced by Shri Prakash Javedkar, Minister of Human Resource Development on 3 April 2017 at a press conference held at Vigyan Bhavan.

The Hon'ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, presented a plaque to the NIRF top ranked institutions in various categories at a special award ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 10 April 2017. Awarded personally were the top ten in the overall category and the top most institutions under the five categories, including colleges. The Principal received the award on behalf of the college. The beautiful trophy celebrates Team Miranda, across seven decades of sustained excellence.
