Miranda House has been ranked no. 2 amongst colleges by NIRF Ranking 2024

Miranda House signed up for e-Yantra Setup Initiative (eLSI) and set up a Robotics lab in 2014. Since then every year faculty and students engage in hands on experiments and projects with microcontrollers, embedded systems and robots extensively.

B.Sc. (H) Physics students register for the e-Yantra Robotics Competition organized by IIT Bombay every year. The competition requires them to work on the Robot Firebird V, utilising an ATMega2560 microprocessor that functions on Embedded C. The team works on logic for audio processing, black line following (sensor data handling), shortest path algorithms, etc.

As part of their summer internship, undergraduate students from other colleges and Universities also do beyond the classroom projects in the lab. In the academic year 2016-17, students presented their projects as posters at the Innovation Conclave; Nurturing Research at Undergraduate Level, Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi, 25-26 October 2016.
