Department Society

'AGRANI' the literary and cultural society of Miranda House Bengali Department has established in the year of 2001. Through this platform, we organize our literary seminar and our cultural fest 'UTSAV'. In spite of small participation, 'AGRANI' always tried to break boundaries by arranging the inter-college competition, debates, etc. They conducted educational tours, picnics. Students also get the opportunity to take up projects dealing with women's empowerment. 'AGRANI' has a future plan to spread out the language to others by starting a language course. Throughout the year 'AGRANI' conducts many cultural events like dance, recitation, drama, etc. Workshops, seminars, and movie screenings are also organized at regular intervals.
