Dr. Amita Rana
  • Associate Professor

Dr. Amita Rana is a leading professional in the field of physical education. Her specialization includes Physiology of Exercise and Track & Field. She is M.A., M.Phil. from LNCPE, Gwalior and Ph.D. from University of Delhi.  She has co-authored three books on the Application Course for the students of B.A. (Programme) of University of Delhi and also contributed a chapter in a book. She was actively involved in the development of curriculum for undergraduate and post graduate courses in physical education, attended seminar on Women in World Athletics at Birmingham, UK (2013), presented papers in the International Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport (ICSEMIS 2012) at Glasgow, Scotland, UK and in the Pre-Olympic Congress on Sports Science and Computer Science in Sport (IACSS 2012) at Liverpool, England and participated in several conferences. She has served as Deputy Director General (Sports) on deputation for XIX Commonwealth Games 2010.

Dr. Neeru Yadav
  • Assistant Professor

Dr. Neeru Yadav,  is a physical education professional having more than 10 years of experience in teaching, training, organization and research. She holds B.Sc. (PE, HE & SS), M.P.Ed (University Gold medalist) and Ph.D from University of Delhi and qualified UGC-NET with JRF. She has 06 years of teaching experience in Amity School of Physical Education and Sports Science, Amity University as Assistant Professor and 02 years of teaching experience  at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Her area of specialization are Physiology of Exercise, Sports Biomechanics, Judo and Track and Field. She has many paper publications  to her credit in various international and national level Journals. She has also presented various Research papers at national and International level seminars and conferences.
