The Computer Science Department has played a pivotal role in inspiring young women to contribute creatively to the knowledge revolution of the digital era. To channel this spirit, the department established CompuAda, its technical society. The name blends “Computer” with the legacy of Lady Ada Lovelace—the world’s first programmer—honoring her pioneering contributions.CompuAda regularly organizes enrichment programs that enhance students’ technical and professional growth. Among its flagship events are Orrey, the annual technical festival, and the celebration of Ada Lovelace’s Birthday on the second Tuesday of October.
