Department Society

SANKHYA, the society of department of mathematics is one of the oldest societies of the college and is a student centric society aimed at career progression and bringing out a systematic transformation on how the field of mathematics is perceived and maneuvered. 

Without the guiding force a society has a void, we without our faculty and professors are incomplete and they form an integral part of the society.

The Mathematics Society 'Sankhya' organizes seminars, quizzes, discussions and talks on a regular basis for exploration beyond the prescribed syllabi.

Our annual fest “Origin” is organized with full vigour and gusto to promote critical thinking blended with fun through paper presentation competitions, quizzes, amusing events, etc.

Mathletics is the annual publication of the editorial board of the  department which recounts the much enjoyed activities presented by the society all year long. The efforts of each and every student and professors go into the making of the magazine.

Since our inception, we have strived for a holistic and comprehensive college experience for our students. Interlacing fun and learning to form the leaders of tomorrow has been our motto.
