The Department organizes a Bridge Course on Laboratory Instrumentation: Principle, Usage and Applications for students of B.Sc. (H) Zoology Part I in the beginning of a new semester. The Course has been designed to provide training on equipments, techniques and safety protocols used in the laboratory. Teachers of the Department have been acting as a resource person for the various sessions of the course. On successful completion of the course, a certificate is given to all the participants. The students usually comprised a heterogeneous group with different level of understanding of techniques and instruments used in the laboratory. This course has largely helped students to bridge the gap in their understanding and they can now work more efficiently in the laboratory.
