All admissions will be made by the College Admission Committee.
Physical presence of the student seeking admission is essential.
Only eligible students will be given admission in accordance with the announced merit-based criteria.
The announcement of cut-off lists for all Programmes/ Categories of Applicants (UR/OBC/SC/ST/PwD/KM) will be made through the University and College website.
For admission to any course, there may be different cut-off percentages for students from different streams, i.e., Science, Commerce and Humanities.
There will be separate cut-offs for General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD Category students.
Rounding-off of fractions to determine eligibility is not permissible.
The cut-off marks which are the basis of admission to the college will be displayed on the notice board, from time to time, in accordance with the University schedule during the admission period.
Applicants are advised to bring sufficient number of self-attested photocopies of certificates.
No one will be given admission, not even provisional admission, if the required certificates in the original, along with one set of self-attested copies thereof, are not submitted.
The college retains its right to seek verification of information submitted from competent authorities. Concealment or misrepresentation of any material information is liable to lead to cancellation of admission, in addition to appropriate legal action.
All certificates are subject to verification by a competent authority. As per the University of Delhi rules, the college will accept self-attested copies of documents/papers provided by the applicant. However, if any false attestation/ falsified records are detected, the student will be debarred from attending any course at the University of Delhi and its colleges for the next five years. In addition, a criminal case under relevant section(s) of IPC (viz. 470, 471, 474, etc.) will be instituted against her.
Original Certificates shall remain in the safe custody of the college and shall be returned only when the student finally leaves the college.
Temporary withdrawal of Original Certificates will be allowed in the case of students seeking admission to professional courses only on the production of proof of call of interview/ counseling session. Students are required to give an undertaking that these Certificates shall be returned to the college by a stipulated date, pending a decision for withdrawal of admission.
Admission to Discipline Course in Music is centralized and through the Faculty of Music, University of Delhi. Candidates should submit their application to the office of the Faculty of Music as well as to the college. Selected candidates will be informed directly by the Faculty of Music about the dates for the Practical Test and Interview. The college will admit only those students who are allotted to it by the Faculty of Music.
Admission to the B.El.Ed. programme is centralised and through Central Institute of Education, University of Delhi, which adjoins Miranda House.
No individual intimation will be sent regarding acceptance or rejection of any application.
