Admission on the basis of Excellence in Sports
Students aspiring for admission under this category are required to indicate this on the centralized online admission form specifying interest in Miranda House. Further, they would be required to specify the choice of sport or extracurricular activity. Miranda House has requirement of the following sportswomen of high caliber in the Academic Year 2020-21:

| Taekwondo | U 46 kg, U 53 Kg, U 67 kg & Above 73 kg |

*The requirement of the players at various positions and events may vary year to year.
- Fitness test and trials for sports will be centrally conducted at venues and dates notified by the Sports Council, University of Delhi.
- Admission at Miranda House will be on the basis of merit list drawn by the Sports Council, University of Delhi.
- Seats reserved for Sports and ECA taken together cannot exceed 5%.
- Students admitted under this category are required to give an undertaking that they will actively participate in the Sport(s) on basis of which they are admitted and play for the college and the University in all years of study. Failure to do so will lead to cancellation of admission
