Miranda House has been awarded the All-India Rank One by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) for six consecutive years in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. In 2017, it was accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with Grade A+ and CGPA 3.61 making it the top ranked college at University of Delhi that offers a full range of Undergraduate Colleges in Liberal Arts and Basic Sciences.
The overarching framework for admissions to the college is defined by the parent University of Delhi and is the same for all its constituent colleges. For admissions, Miranda House strictly follows guidelines and schedule as issued by the University from time to time. Admission to any course is on the basis of a pre-announced eligibility criteria by the University (please refer to the DU Bulletin of Information).
Reservation of Seats for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) Candidates, Other Backward Classes (OBC, Non-Creamy Layer, Central List) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS):
As a constituent college of University of Delhi, Miranda House is committed to the implementation of the reservation policies for admissions to UG and PG courses as stipulated by the University. These rules are governed by DoPT Notifications and the UGC letters issued to Central Universities from time to time.
